WE ARE OPEN!
Here at The Gardens, you are welcome to wander and explore at your leisure, entry is by donation which can be made in cash or with Eftpos.
If you prefer, you can book a guided tour with one of our wonderful volunteers. You'll learn about the interesting history of the site and experience the gardens in all their splendour.
You can choose a golf cart tour (which is perfect for those less able to manage the paths) or a guided walking tour.
Bookings for tours are essential, please book at least 48 hours in advance.

PLAN YOUR VISIT
Golf Cart Tours
We can take up to 5 guests in a guided tour of the Gardens in our electric Golf Cart.
Enjoy a 1 hour tour of the entire Gardens in comfort and with ease.
1-3 people $50 - 4 people $65 - 5 people $75
Guided Walking Tours
We also provide guided walking tours of the Gardens with one of our knowledgeable volunteers. The tour takes approximately 1 hour.
For groups of 5 people or more, $10 per person

Our gift shop is located inside the visitor's centre, near the entry to the gardens. You'll find a gorgeous selection of goodies available for purchase, including locally made arts and crafts, jewellery, garden tools and of course plants!
We have pottery by our own Glenda Armiger, who has supplied garden decorations and mini planters, brightly coloured woven flax pieces by local artist Wendy Naepflin, NZ made 'Twigg' jewellery, gift cards, keepcups, aprons and tote bags.
We also carry a small selection of high-quality garden tools from Spear and Jackson.
Plants for sale change regularly, so it pays to pop in frequently and keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates.
